 Bible Reading at Home

Scripture:  Jeremiah 1:4-10; Psalm 71:1-6; 1 Corinthians 13:1-13;

Luke 4:21-30

Faith is not always an easy way to live, and always must be a way engaged with love.  Life often surprises us, and the presence of Spirit in life is often even more surprising.  We encounter circumstances which take our breath away, and then flood us with grace beyond our wildest imagination.

What are some surprising things you have learned about the presence of God and Jesus in your life?  What has made it possible for you to hear these teachings or follow them?  What does it mean for you to practice the “hard teachings” of God with love?

  Family devotions for your use at home are available at the welcome center or on the resource table.
