In Young Children and Worship children enjoy all the parts of the worship service in an age-appropriate setting.  Simple songs and Bible verses open the worship time.  Bible stories are told with wooden figures that are just right for children to hold as they retell the stories for themselves.  Activities reinforce story concepts.  Prayers and blessings share God's love. 

This program is based on Montessori educational principles.  Parents are welcome to accompany their children to observe the program at work.

Children are excused from 9:00 worship for this program following the opening and children's sermon. 

Although we strongly recommend this program as a way to prepare children for full participation in our regular worship service, parents who prefer to keep their children in worship with them are welcome to do so.
